| Abstract | Abstract: การศึกษานี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อทราบความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างค่าดำเนินการตีพิมพ์ผลงานวิจัยและการได้รับอ้างอิง ด้านปริมาณ และความรวดเร็วใน Open Access Journals โดยรวบรวมค่าดำเนินการตีพิมพ์ (APCSs) จากฐานข้อมูล Directory of Open Access Journals เฉพาะวารสารในกลุ่ม DOAJ Seal จำนวน 1,082 รายการ และค่าบ่งชี้คุณภาพวารสารจำนวน 3 ค่า คือ Journal Impact Factor (JIF), Journal Citation Report (JCS) และ Journal Immediacy Index (JII) วิเคราะห์ความสัมพันธ์โดยสถิติสหสัมพันธ์ Pearson’s coefficient correlation (r) ผลการศึกษาพบค่าดำเนินการตีพิมพ์มีความสัมพันธ์เชิงบวกกับการได้รับอ้างอิงของ Open Access Journals อย่างมีนัยสำคัญในระดับปานกลาง เรียงลำดับจากมากไปน้อยดังนี G Aricle processing charge และ Journal Impact Factor (rAPCs_JIF =0.678), Article processing charges และ Journal CiteScore (rAPCs_JCS =0.593) Article processing charges และ Journal Immediacy Index (rAPCs_JII = 0.578) ค่าเฉลี่ยของ APCs, JIF, JCS และ JII เท่ากับ 1,480 USD, 1.480, 2.780 และ 0.260 ตามลำดับ การศึกษาครั้งนี้ จะช่วยให้ห้องสมุดเข้าใจความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างค่าดำเนินการตีพิมพ์ และ จำนวน / ความเร็วของ Open Access Journals และสนับสนุนการวิจัยได้อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ รวมทั้งนักวิจัยสามารถพิจารณาเลือกวารสารส่งตีพิมพ์ผลงาน และประเมินการได้รับอ้างอิงหลังการตีพิมพ์ได้อย่าง ถูกต้อง Objectives: The aim of this study was to investigate the correlation between article processing charges and citations in term of cited number and speed of Open Access Journals. Methods: Publication costs, Article processing charges (APCs) of Open Access Journals from the Directory of Open Access Journals database, included only in the DOAJ Seal and 3 quality indicators, Journal Impact Factor ( JIF) , Journal Citation Report ( JCS) and Journal Immediacy Index ( JII) were collected. Correlation was analyzed by Pearson's coefficient correlation statistics Results: 1,082 Open Access Journals were included. The study revealed that publication cost was significantly positively correlated with their citations at a moderate level. The coefficient of correlation are Article processing charges and Journal Impact Factor ( rAPCs_JIF =0.678), Aricle processing charges and Journal CiteScore (rAPCs_JCS =0.593), Article processing charges and Journal Immediacy Index (rAPCs_JII = 0.578). The average of APCs, JIF, JCS and JII are $1,480, 1.480, 2.780 and 0.260 respectively. Conclusions: From this study, understanding the relationship between publishing cost and cited number/ speed of citation in Open Access journals caused library could prompt research support effectively. Also researchers meet appropriate journals to publish and estimate about citation of their published papers. |
